Shoe Fundraiser
A Midwest fundraiser we have in mind,
That will be of a unique kind.
It will be different, that is true,
As there will be no cost to you.
A chance to clean your closets out,
And raise funds is what it’s all about.
The footwear that once was loved,
That to the back of the closet has been shoved.
So, gather up your gently used footwear,
And pass it along without a care.
Whether it be too high, too narrow, or too small,
If it is in decent shape, we will collect them all.
We have just a month or two,
To collect our goal of 100 bags of shoes from you.
Each bag must contain 25 pair,
Of useable shoes that we can share.
A few minutes of your time to share this rhyme,
To collect as many pairs as possible in the assigned time.
With no outlay of cash to you,
We are hoping that you will all join in and help us get through.
If we each can do our part,
And make this a success right from the start.
Madison 2022 is what this effort is all about,
The funds we raise will help us out.
So, invite your dancers, family and friends along,
To share in this effort to make it strong.
Our goal you see should be easy to make,
If we all pitch in to do what it takes.

Where: The final pickup location will be in Plymouth, MI, but other collection locations will be available.
Why: To offer the region the chance to raise $1000.00 at no cost to you and an opportunity to clear out your closets.
