Announcing the 2025 Tartan Trail

We are pleased to announce the 2025 Tartan Trail Competition League. Dancers who attend five out of six participating competitions in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Illinois will receive a Tartan Trail finisher t-shirt, completion certificate, and keepsake charm for their dickie, blouse or vest. When dancers get their stamp at each attended competition, they will also receive a treat as well!

NEW THIS YEAR

Dancers who have attended at least TWO competitions by June 7th (Frozen Fling/Capital City/Milwaukee HG) will be entered into a free draw at the Milwaukee Highland Games for:

• restaurant gift cards

• free dance entry into the MN Highland Games 2025 competition

• free dance entry into the Capital City Fall 2025 competition

Dancers who have COMPLETED the 2025 Trail will be entered into a free draw at the Capital City Fall competition for:

• a pair of Thistle highland dance shoes donated by Thistle Shoes of Scotland!

• restaurant gift cards

• FOUR free dance entries for 2026: Frosted Fling/Capital City Spring/MN Highland Games/Capital City Fall

The competitions for 2025 are:

• February 15: Frozen Fling in St Paul, MN

• April 12: Capital City Spring in Madison, WI

• June 7: Milwaukee Highland Games in Franklin, WI

• June 15: Chicago Highland Games in Itasca, IL

• July 13: MN Highland Games in St Paul, MN

• October 12: Capital City Fall in Madison, WI

Same as last year, there is absolutely no cost to enter and open to any registered dancer! All you need to do is sign up for the League, mark your calendars, and register for the competitions you wish to attend - it's that simple!
